"after graduation, I..." or "after graduated from college, I.." which one is better? or both?

The second sentence needs to be "after I graduated from college, I.."
By the way, we tend to graduate from University in the UK.....

@peterf Thank you! I didn't know there is a difference between college and university, I thought they are synonymous?

A "college" in the UK can refer to a secondary school, an institution for further education, a sixth form establishment, or a constituent organisation of certain Universities!
