it's has a basic grammar which depend on the last alphabet of the word or specifically if the word have "patchim" or not :)

-이에요 = -예요
예요 is abbreviation of 이에요
If the word ends with a consonant, use 이에요 and If it ends with a vowel, use 예요
Ex)
나는 사람이에요
그녀는 나의 우상이에요
그는 훌륭한 분이에요
이 개는 내 애완동물이에요
나는 여자예요
나는 남자예요
이것은 지우개예요
그는 내 친구예요
