"shall" means "will" or "must" but it is very antiquated and usually only appears in fiction, and sounds comically dramatic and proper in speech. e.g.
I shall avenge my mother. (I am determined to avenge my mother).
Nobody shall pass this gate. (Nobody is permitted to pass this gate).
"should" means "ought to" or "be expected to"
You should apologize. (You'd better apologize).
His house should be close. (I believe his house is close / I believe we're getting close to his house).
