Most high schools require you take at least one year of a foreign language. The most common is Spanish, French and German. Like stated above, nicer high schools offer more options. College also usually demands one year of foreign language to graduate and they usually have tons of languages to choose from.
Well, in my high school, they require students to take 2-3 years of 1 or either 2 languages. The foreign languages my school provides is Korean, French, Spanish, Arabic, Latin, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese.
in bad high schools like mine they only offer 1 language which is usually Spanish but nicer schools have more languages and college has so many. at my school you can take a different language than Spanish but it's on the internet so you won't have a real teacher
I used to be able to take both French and Spanish, but they dropped the French classes since not many people were interested in it, so right now, we can only learn Spanish. I wish we had more options, though.
