In high school, there will only be 2 or 3 such as Spanish and Fremch unless you go to a nicer school where they may offer Japanese, Latin, German, etc.

Most high schools require you take at least one year of a foreign language. The most common is Spanish, French and German. Like stated above, nicer high schools offer more options. College also usually demands one year of foreign language to graduate and they usually have tons of languages to choose from.
