I would recommend Edinburgh in Scotland, it is very beautiful

in Edinburgh? well there is a Castle in the Old Town, which full of medieval architecture, there is also New Town which is also old but much more recent, there is Arthur's Seat which is a hill that used to be a volcano centuries ago and now offers an amazing view of the city, there's also Dean Village, there are plenty of beautiful places to see, I recommend you check a tourist guide or wikitravel

other than that, I know London which is amazing and so big you will never finish finding interesting stuff. I know Glasgow also in Scotland which is cool but more industrial than Edinburgh and bigger or there's Inverness in the north with the beautiful highlands

If you stay in London, you can also take the bus or train to Oxford. It is very historic and beautiful, but you can see a lot of it in one day.

As I live here! Edinburgh! However the best time to go is in august because the national festival is on (fringe festival) so you can go see shows, magic acts and performers! Also at Christmas time because the winter wonderland is on (Christmas market) however Scotland is never warm but if you go in December be prepared to freeze :)

@j0d13 cool! I live in Edinburgh too :) yeah definitely the fringe festival in August is worth seeing. And well you can freeze most of the year, there are like 2 days of "kinda" summer only :D
