程よく adequately, good enough as in 部屋は程よく日が当たる。The room gets enough sunshine.
適当に can mean adequately, suitably, but it often used in a negative nuance like "at random" "without full consideration, attention." "carelessly" as in 彼は適当に答えた。He answered without any serious thinking. as a temporary measure.
