@RB_AC rich food usually means it has a high fat content. Fudge, cheesecake, things like that.
We might also say “foods rich in ____”. That means something a little different. For example, If I say “spinach is rich in iron” it doesn’t mean spinach is fatty, it means it has a lot of iron.
Bland just means it doesn’t have much flavor. Bland foods are watery, under-seasoned, unsalted, or otherwise boring and flavorless

Rich Food: Rich food typically refers to dishes that are high in flavor, often due to ingredients such as butter, cream, cheese, oils, and spices. These foods tend to be indulgent, flavorful, and sometimes heavy or dense. Examples of rich foods include creamy pasta dishes, buttery desserts, decadent sauces, and dishes prepared with luxurious ingredients. Rich foods are often associated with gourmet cuisine and are enjoyed for their intense flavors and satisfying textures https://impribe.com/homemade-soup/.
Bland Food: Bland food, on the other hand, refers to dishes that are mild or lacking in strong flavor. Bland foods may be characterized by their simplicity and lack of bold seasoning or ingredients. These foods are often gentle on the palate and may be preferred by individuals with sensitive taste buds or those following dietary restrictions. Bland foods can include dishes like plain rice, boiled vegetables, steamed fish, and unseasoned tofu. While bland foods may not be as flavorful as rich foods, they can still be nutritious and serve as a base for more heavily seasoned dishes or sauces.
