How do you say this in Vietnamese? When you wanna say "your dog is cute" you say
"con chó dễ thương của bạn"? If I want to say it to a girl that it's older than me I should say của chị instead of của bạn??

You are correct about the "chị" part, but the sentence should be translated into "Con chó của bạn dễ thương (quá)"

why "quá" is in parentheses? does it mean "too"?

@Ethan_g__ it means very/so. I put that in parentheses because it is optional to use it. Most of us use it even though your original sentence doesn't have "very" or "so" because it sounds more natural. Hope this helps

in addition, you can replace "quá" = "thế" (the Northside vibe).
if you want to make it cuter then say "quá đi mất!😻".
if you want to be informal and a lil humorous then say "vãi" instead of "quá".
