I use よろしくお願いします. Many people teach どうぞよろしく. I've heard that that is incorrect, and that no natives say it in Japan. Is this true?

@ukeruu Thank you! I was mainly referring to when you introduce yourself when you first meet someone. Which would you say then?

to be on the safe side , it's better to not use it for whatever first meeting with someone . It could make you seem a little impolite.
