Actually you don't have to worry very much as usually most of Japanese don't feel offended or bothersome when asked by a foreigner to repeat saying again (or twice or whatever). It's simply because many Japanese know the difficulty of achieving the second language (you now, many Japanese have been struggling to master English). So don't feel ashamed or worry to make mistakes or ask people to repeat again, you really don't need to say the request in Japanese, but simply "ah --- , once more please?" or "えーと、、、もういちど、、、" that would be perfectly enough to have people to speak again (and probably they will speak slowly in the second time).
