@Vito212 It means that you vote along with the other members of your registered political party (Democrat, Republican, etc. in America).

@Vito212 It means that the Democratic party Congressmen will all vote the same way (Yes), and the Republican Congressman will all vote a different way(No).
In the US there are only two major political parties - the Democrats and the Republicans. But many voters don’t like either party and they will vote for a minor party candidate or they will “write in” the name of someone they think would be a good representative.

What do you mean by “voters” in this case?
Do you mean the electorates or those in the Congress entitled to vote with regard to the impeachment? (Btw is the grammar of question correct?)

Thank you for the answers.
Mr Trump will become the third president in US history to be impeached. He will then go on trial in the Senate, where Senators from both parties are obliged to act as independent jurors.
But being impeached is not the end of Trump’s presidency?

@Vito212 Correct. Just because a president is impeached, it does not mean they are automatically removed from office. Being impeached only means that a president will stand trial for whatever crimes/charges they are charged with. He will only be removed if he is found guilty at the end of the impeachment hearings.

@Vito212 I mean the electorate (no “s”) - the American people.
Your grammar was excellent, except for the “s” in “electorates.”

No. And there are a lot of Americans who don’t know that.
Impeachment is when the House votes to accuse the President of some wrong act.
Then the Senate conducts a trial to see whether the President should be removed from office. If the Senate decides that the President should be removed from office, then the Vice President becomes the new President.
