Ich habe heute keine Lust zu arbeiten, aber ich muss, um meinen Freund zu bezahlen, als ich nicht genug Geld für die Fährt nach Haus hatte, hat er mir das ausgeliehen.

Kann man so sagen „aber ich muss“ ? Klingt mehr nach amerikanisch als deutsch, gell?

Kann man schon so sagen. Aber da sind andere Fehlerchen drin.
Ich habe heute keine Lust zu arbeiten, aber ich muss, damit ich meinem Freund das Geld zurückzahlen kann. Er hat mir nämlich Geld geliehen, als ich selbst nicht genug Geld für die Heimfahrt hatte.
