What is the difference between 看上去 and 看起来 ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.

“看上去”客观一点，“看起来”亲昵一点。
举个栗子：
1、你的女朋友今天穿得很漂亮，问你：“亲爱的，我今天看起来怎么样？”你回答：“天啊，你真的是我亲爱的？这看起来也太美了！”
这里，如果用“看上去”，就会产生距离感，显得冷淡了。
2、背后议论别人，会这样说：她看上去就漂漂亮亮的，但是在家里其实很邋遢的。
这里，用“看上去”更能拉开距离感。当然，这里也能用“看起来”，但语气上没有那么冷漠了。
其实，如果不较真的话，可以认为区别不大。
