Question about English (US)

How do you say this in English (US)? The good news for you and me and the rest of us imperfect parents trying to raise slightly less imperfect children is that you don't have to be the Dalai Mama in order to be more intentional and less insane with your kids.

I don't understand 2 points in the above sentence. One is "slightly less imperfect", the other is "Dalai Mama"
Waiting for great answers and thank you in advance.
