Question about English (UK)

What does Are you Elizabeth James? Quilty! mean?

This sentence comes from the movie The Parent Trap and the conversation goes like this "Are you Elizabeth James?", "Quilty!". What does "guilty" in the sentence mean and why do they use "guilty" instead of "That would be me" or "Yes, I'm Elizabeth James"?
