The most common word would probably be “cook”
People associate “bake” with desserts. “Roast” may work here too but it doesn’t sound as good as “cook”
“Cook” is sort of the general term for making food. “Roast” may be more specific for meats so the answer may be “roast” or “cook”

@Zacharias00 I agree that the only word I wouldn't use is bake. Generally turkeys are roasted, (unless you buy them at the gas station where they are "broasted".)😜

"Roast" is the right answer here. When cooking in an oven, "bake" is for breads and cakes, and "roast" is for meats.
"Cook" is correct but "roast" is more specific.
