Question about English (US)

Today is Saturday.

As you all know, outside these days, because of the Coronavirus and the fine dust is bad, I stayed home all day because I was safe inside.

I read a book about 40 pages after a long time.

I usually underline what I think is important when I read a book with a blue colored pencil.

I have a slight itch in my throat and a slight cough.
