Question about English (US)

What is the difference between Taking care of an aged relative involves a serious time commitment.and Taking care of an aged relative requires a serious time commitment.?Feel free to just provide example sentences.

I find it difficult to use "involve" in this situation. I think in this case, you can replace it with "require". Which is natural or commonly used?
