What is the difference between I feel deep regret and I feel deeply regret ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
What is the difference between I feel deep regret and I feel deeply regret ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
I am writing a letter of apology (as an exercise). In my first draft I wrote "I feel deeply regret of the inconvenience you have had to suffer..." but my peer corrected it as "I feel deep regret". So which one is correct or what is the difference between the two?

I feel deeply regret does not make sense. the âdeepâ is describing the regret, whereas if you use the adverb âdeeplyâ your describing how he feels the regret. in that case you could say âI deeply feel regretâ but it not as commonly used.
