Question about English (US)

How do you say this in English (US)? Filhos do Norte

That's from a short story I'm writing in japanese and translating into portuguese just for practice. As I've been thinking of translating it into English, too, I also started thinking of how I should translate this expression, which is the name of an order of soldiers/knights (not sure yet) who protect the North Kingdom. I wanted it to sound kinda literary, but Kids of the North, Children of the North sound weird to me (not native here), to say the least. Besides, although "Sons of the North" sounds great, I'm not sure if sons includes women as well.
