In french there are several ways to ask a question :
- A-t-elle une voiture ? (Formal, academic...)
- Est-ce qu'elle a une voiture ? (Current, less formal, can be used in an academic context, but the first one is generally favorite)
- Elle a une voiture ? (Based on the tone, informal, oral only)
