1. Королев is not exactly a correct spelling, but i assume you mean Королева or Король. Those words mean "queen" or "king".
2. As for the word герой, it can be directly translated as "hero".
3. Here are examples:
3.1 Элизавета II - королева Великобритании. (Elisabeth the 2 is the queen of the Great Britain)
3.2 Героя рассказа зовут Андрей. (The main hero of the novel is called Andrew)
