The most people don’t like them because many Gypsy’s have criminal behavior and cause they don’t want to adapted they way we are living for example the don’t send their kids to school and they only live with other Gypsy’s in specific areas (that fine for me but they should at least let their kids go to school so they can be educated ). Many times also they don’t follow the rules that government force to all of us as it was for example the quarantine during COVID-19 ,they act like the rules and laws don’t apply to them. Also many of them are rude, they bother you and force you to buy things from them like roses ( yes the flower)and if you say no they will insist or they will tell you that they will curse you. But mostly Greek people hate their criminal behavior they can steal your phone or your money from your bag when you’re at the metro or even when you walking (and usually you won’t understand it) so we’re always really careful with our bags, generally those who steal are kids it’s easier for them than an adult. But of course they are not all the apples bad they’re Gypsy’s that are educated and work and live with their family peaceful without breaking the law. However their culture it’s really interesting their weddings and how they live or their stories (they believe in magic and ghosts ) *i forgot it because they don’t go to school they don’t have an education background so they don’t work so either they steal or just wait from the government to give them allowance(again I want to point out not all of them ) but even thought they don’t work Gypsy’s are know for having a lot of money they have many gold real jewelry’s and gold teeth’s
