@y4ng_ You may have heard of dragon boat racing, commemorate Qu Yuan or some other activities to celebrate this festival. But as for me, the only thing I did to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival is eating Zongzi.
@y4ng_ Most people just eat Zongzi to celebrate it. Some buy a bunch of 艾蒿(Artemisia argyi) and put it in front of their doors to keep away some insects and hopefully bad luck. It’s traditionally believed that it’s good for your health if you put 艾蒿 in hot water and use the same water to wash your feet on Dragon Boat Festival. And sending wishes to friends by making a call or just sending a WeChat message is also common, but this applies to every holiday.
