Question about Russian
Hi guys, do you know what всё actually means? Because sometime I hear when my Russian friends ask me wether I finish what I am doing or not, they usually ask with всё? but when I translate it, it means all, or whole.
Does всё also mean already or done??
Thanks

Всё means "all" or "everything. (previous post)
But not only.
Всё, я наконец сделал это.
Всё, ты сделал? or Всё? (Have you already done?)

It seems a dictionary you've used is no good. "Всё" is able to be adverb, pronoun or can be used predicatively (the case that you speak of is the last one).
(разг. предик.) достаточно, довольно, хватит, конец, кончено
◆ "Запросто при торможении автобуса могло закинуть под колёса — и всё!" = и конец, т. е. всё кончено.
◆ "Ну всё уже, прекрати!" = Ну хватит уже, прекрати.
or
- Прощения проси!
- Прости пожалуйста.
- А всё уже, всё.
- Что "всё"?
- А надо было раньше просить.
- Так я же сразу извинился!
- А всё уже.
- Что?
- Угу. Всё...
- Ты что издеваешься, я не понимаю?
- А всё уже...
