Question about English (US)
"I made a cheese case with yogurt. But I didn't succeed. I made a mistake in using gelatine. I should've put it into the yogurt right after I dissolved it with hot water. I let it sit for a while in the cup, so it got solid in it. Anyway, I'll do better for sure next time."
Good morning! Could you please check my passage above and let me know if it sounds natural. Thank you!

A more common American phrase to use in this situation is...
It didn't turn out right. or
It didn't turn out good.
instead of "I didn't succeed."
You did good, though. There's nothing wrong with what you said.

"I made a cheese cake with yogurt. But I made a mistake in using gelatine. I should've put it into the yogurt right after I dissolved it with hot water. Instead I let it sit for a while in the cup, so it solidified. Anyway, I'll do better for sure next time."

Yes it does the only change needs to made is “ so it got solid in it.” You can either change it to “ so it had solids throughout the yogurt” or “ so it had gotten solid” gotten is an informal word but people know what you mean by both sentences.
