I have learned in IELTS class in Canada.
But I think I’m still not ready to take real exam. Because my speaking skill and writing skill are terrible.
I would like to email about that to my friend. Does this sound natural?

If you would allow me to rephrase your sentences : 😅
"I took a class in Canada to learn IELTS."
*The second sentence is correct, I just added the article, "the".
"But I think, I'm still not ready to take the real exam."
*For the third sentence:
"Because my speaking and writing skills are terrible."
Or you can say, "Because I feel like I still need to work on my speaking and writing skills."
