Question about English (UK)
I unashamedly hold "Love Hina" close to me, Because it reminds me of a time when my adolescence romanticize the concept of just finding a partner who would accept me. And every so often another show comes along it just appeals to that side of me even if I know it's absolutely trashy.
what does “when my adolescence romanticize the concept of” mean in this sentence.
and
what does "And every so often another show comes along it" mean.

romanticize (verb): to view something in a unrealistic/idealistic way.
So that clause means the person, during his/her adolescence (teenage years) had some of idealistic and unrealistic ideas about what love was suppose to be like.
every so often: occasionally; OR from time to time
so occasionally he/she will find another show that would make him feel the same way as "Love Hina" did
