âWhiskingâ uses a kitchen tool called a âwhiskâ, but you can beat or whip something using a fork or an egg beater.
âWhippingâ makes a liquid (like cream) frothy or thick.
âBeatingâ means that you mix a liquid together using strong movements.
In a context that isnât about cooking, âwhiskâ means to move something lightly and quickly. âWhipâ means to hit something with a whip. And âbeatâ means to hit something/someone.

There is only a very small difference.
Whisking uses a whisk. (You can see the whisk in the picture.) Beating can use a whisk OR a fork. Whipping is almost always for cream. That is the difference.

If you are using cream, you should say âwhip.â
If you are using a whisk, you should say âwhisk.â
But otherwise, yes! You can use any of them. They are almost the same.
