It is also used to tell someone an experience you have had in your life (as long as you don’t say when you did it. Once you mention a specific time, you should use the simple past)

so when i say the time when i did something in past i use past simple and when i talk about something was happened in tej past but i dont say when it will be present perfect? am i right?
