I left office = leaving a political position you were elected to.
E.g. When Barack Obama left office in 2016, he decided to remain in Washington.
It is only used to describe political positions.
‘I left the office’ = physically leaving the office where you work, possibly to go home.
E.g. On Wednesday, I left the office early to go to football practice.

I left my job means I quit. Leave office means retire from a position (office can also mean position) but if you're texting you can say leave office and your family won't think you quit your job. Context will define the meaning.
I left work/the office means I'm done with work and I'm coming home.
