Question about Korean
In the sentence "주로 과거 일어난 일에 대해서만 사용하며 보통 '가다, 오다, 타다, 들르다' 동사와 같이 씁니다".
What does 일어나다 mean?
If it means "to happen" what is the difference with 생기다?
Are they synonyms and can I use them interchangeably?
