Kaufen bedeutet etwas zu erwerben*, dabei ist egal wie viel erworben wird.
Aufkaufen sagt aus, dass eine Ware danach nicht mehr zu erwerben ist.
Beispiel: "Er hat alle Bananen aufgekauft."
*erwerben bedeutet dasselbe wie kaufen
