Question about Korean

Can any Korean speakers please explain this sentence to me? “앨범이 빨리 나왔으면 좋겠다.”

A musician that I follow posted this, and the Naver translation says it means “I hope the album comes out soon” but that makes no sense to me.

I understand the “album” and “soon/fast” parts and the fact that it’s in future tense but... doesn’t 좋겠다 mean that something will be good/nice?

Does 좋겠다 have a different meaning in this sentence?
