Question about English (US)
I was casually imaginating conversations in English and had a question:
Is the phrase "Before that, I'd always spoken without thinking about it" correct?
Context: I was talking about a English grammar rule wich I didn't know how it worked and had always spoken it "automatically" for having already heard it in sentences a lot.
And also, could I say "I'd always spoken it automatically" instead of "without thinking about it" or is it odd to say that in English?
