I hit the snooze button on my alarm. I wasn’t ready to get up yet.
In most other instances, the word nap is used. It can be used as a noun or as a verb.
I’m so tired I think I’ll take a little snooze/nap this afternoon.

If you snooze, you lose.
This means if you don’t do something right away, you might miss the opportunity.
For example, I wanted to make a reservation at a very special for next week and there were only two rooms available. I decided to talk to my husband first, and afterwards found out that during the time I was talking to him, somebody booked both rooms and now they were not available.

@toystoryy ‘Snooze’ is more of a slang word for ‘sleeping’ or ‘sleeping in’. So if you wanted to use it in a sentence you could say “I think I will take a snooze” which means ‘I think I will go to sleep for a little bit.’
