Question about English (US)

I wrote this paragraph, but I’m poor at English, could you please take a look at this paragraph? I would be appreciated if you could fix it and make it sound more natural.

The place where I’ve been to called Harbor-land, is located in Kobe of Hyogo prefecture (of Japan). As the name you saw, it is near the sea side. Before I introduce the Harbor-land, I would like to share a trivia, that in Kobe, people do not use directions when giving directions. Because of the Unique terrain, Kobe citizen use mountain and sea side respectively instead of north and south side. If you confused where is north and south when you visit Kobe, just remember that sea side represents south side.
