How can I say? What is correct? Can you give examples in different time, please.
1. I was at the hairdresser. Or I was at the barbershop.
2. I cut my hair. Or I got a haircut
How can I say? What is correct? Can you give examples in different time, please.

1. The barbershop is more for boys haircuts so saying that word is better if you’re a guy while a hairdresser is generally used for any form of haircuts.
2. Both works! Though “I cut my hair” sounds like you’re the one who cut your own hair so if someone else cut your hair for you, “I got a haircut” is better.

I would say hairdresser if I was at a place getting my hair done other than a regular haircut .I would say barber if it was just to cut my hair.
I cut my hair means I CUT my hair, but since I don't give myself haircuts I would say I got a haircut.
