Not much.
“She is going to go to the store”
“She will go to the store”
They are the same thing in most cases. I use them interchangeably, contrary what the other people in this thread are saying. You can say either if you’ve planned an action or if you’re doing something in the moment.
“I will go see a movie.”
“I am going to see a movie”
“I will get some water”
“I am going to get some water”

@hicham500 “Going to” kind of means you’re about to do something or currently doing something.
“Will” means you’re going to do it in the future.
“I’m going to get a cup of water.” Which could mean you’re standing up to get it.
“I will get a cup of water.” Which means you will stand up to get it at some point in the future.
Both are very similar and people use them both in most situations.

They mean the same thing, more or less. There are some slight differences.
"Going to" is used when you decide in advance (you've planned it beforehand).
"Will" is used when you make a decision in the moment. It is also used for predictions.
Basically:
"I am going to the beach with my boyfriend." -- decided before, planned
"I will probably see a movie later." -- prediction
If the phone rings, the person decides to get it in the moment. "I will get the phone."
