@bibbbbyyyu 2. is of course closer to standard, but I think 1. is fine, too. A little uniqueness in handwriting is a good thing in my opinion.

I don't think an opinion could be possible without the context of all the other letters of your handwriting. Of course, a standard way is taught to youngsters in school, but by the time you reach adulthood, style and individuality becomes far more important--and legibility (or beauty) of one letter is no way to tell the legibility (or beauty) of a whole string of letters. If you copy out a whole paragraph by hand, then I'd be happy to give an opinion about your letter 'a.' :-)

@bibbbbyyyu As @Cinema_Sensei said, the context is important. It's obviously an "a" because the rest of the word makes it obvious. By itself I would think it was a 2.
