@Nego-chan It means to use the internet/search online (like on Google) for unusual/bizarre/weird facts (true statements/information) about an animal from your country. Then write a paragraph (minimum of 5-7 sentences) using/talking about the facts. Use quotes (quotes require quotations which is "___") to support your information. The quotes will be from the facts. Here's a simple example:
Koalas are picky eaters and what they pick are eucalyptus leaves, which are actually poisonous. According to (whatever person or website you got your info from), "eucalyptus leaves are poisonous to most animals and humans but the koalas can process the toxic chemicals thanks to unique microbes that inhabit the animals' digestive tract."

You need to write a paragraph about an animal that is indigenous to the country you were born in. Using a book or the internet for source material, you need to write a paragraph using unusual or odd facts pertaining to the animal. You need to quote something from your source.

I wrote it like this, is it correct?
You probably know that Pandas eat bamboo, but did you know that there are also rats that live on bamboo?
It is called a “(Chinese)bamboo rat”. Unlike common rats, Bamboo rats mainly inhabit tropical and subtropical forests, shrubs and bamboo forests in China, and mainly live on bamboo, miscanthus, plant stems, etc.
Bamboo rats and common rats look similar except for the shape of their heads and the length of their tails.
(common) rats have triangular shaped heads while Bamboo rats have more circular heads.

You’ve used quotes incorrectly. The ones you have should be removed. A sentence is not a paragraph. A paragraph is a group of sentences that are grouped together. There is usually an idea connecting the sentences in the paragraph.
In China, you have probably heard about how pandas eat bamboo, but did you know that there are also rats that live on bamboo? It is called the bamboo rat. Unlike common rats, bamboo rats mainly live in tropical and subtropical climates inhabiting the shrub and bamboo forests of China. The bamboo rat consumes bamboo, miscanthus, plant stems, and other highly fibrous plant material to survive. Bamboo rats and common rats look similar except for the shape of their heads and the length of their tails. Common rats have a triangular shaped heads while Bamboo rats have more circular heads.
You need to quote something from your source material.
Don’t use “etc.” if you can help it.
