I received the result of my IELTS exam which showed that I’m at the C1 level right now. I wonder if I can get to the C2 level if I keep what I had been doing before the exam next year. does it sound natural?

The last sentence is not quite right. It should be “I wonder if I can get to the C2 level if I keep doing what I did before the last exam.” I think, if I understand your intended meaning correctly.

I wonder if it is okay to say like this, “I received the result of my IELTS exam which showed that I’m at the C1 level right now. I wonder if I can get to the C2 level next year if I keep doing what I had been doing while preparing for the exam.
