Whatever job/career you choose (to earn money), there are pros and cons. The most important thing is that you are (the only one) in charge of yourself.

@seohyunlee9412 If I just correct for grammar it should be "Whatever you choose* for earning money,
there are always pros and cons. The thing that is* important is that* you are the only one in charge of yourself* and others are not*.
1. choose is present tense
2. "for earning money" can just be "for your job". It is not wrong but it just sounds more natural the second way. If you want to use "earn money" you can say "to earn money"
3. You have to include "that". It is like 다고 lik. The thing that is important translates to "중용한 다는 것이"
4. in charge of you should be charged of "yourself". You is usually correct as an object, but since you are doing something to yourself, you have to use "yourself"
5. You have to use "others are not" which is a "to be" verb. Earlier you wrote "You are in charge" so you have to use a similar intransitive verb to match "are".

@mdasu3 i appreciate you.
i totally understand explains.
honestly, i thought it would be correct grammatically if i omit "that is" just like i can omit "who is" or "where are".
i appreciate your details.

@seohyunlee9412 You can remove the first "that" and say "The important thing is that*" instead of "The thing that is important is that"
