What does "If we had any doubts we shoudn't any longer about a government of, by, and for the people. ... Here the people rule" mean?
Good day, friends! Could you, please, explain me what Joe Biden meant? It looks like to me that the quote isn't correct grammatically. "We shoudn't any longer..". Do what? Why do "of" and "by" stay in this phrase?

I think "We shouldn't any longer" is referring to having doubts about the country's government.

As a native speaker, this confused me... It is definitely worded strangely. I believe what he meant was that
If we had any doubts before now, we shouldn't have them anymore. We shouldn't have any more doubts about a government that is for (as well as made up of and made by) the people.
So basically, we should not doubt a government that is made for, made by, and made up of the people anymore. (Pretty much just a fancier way of just saying we shouldn't doubt the government...)

He is quoting the US constitution. "by the people, for the people".
He is saying the election was won because the people wanted him as President
The any longer part is about how now this is evident.
