Generally speaking, if the initial question uses “how,” then my response will use “how.”
-How’s your weekend so far?
-It’s good. How about you?
-What are you doing this weekend?
-Nothing. What about you?
I have a feeling there is a time where I would mix, but I can’t pinpoint at the moment.
