you know it means what the fuck, yes? (it's not nice to say)
there's always a joke that it means.. "why the face" (meaning.. why do you look like that)
but it means what the fuck. (try not to say this, it's offensive)

Maybe "Excuse me?" could be a more polite way of saying "wtf?"

@emtrivoli Thank you and I will not use it.
However, I’m wondering if there’s a replacement for it that has no bad impression.

you could use WTH. what the heck (realize there are plenty of people who think the F word is just fine.. but I don't. ).
WTH is also... what the hell. a little worse than HECK but not as bad as F---
some people also say... "What the....... " (with no other words)
or OMG oh my god
but even that can be offensive... but you could change it to OH MY GOSH...
MANY people just write "OMG" not realizing the word GOD is in there.
to a religious person.. saying oh my god, is not good.
feel free to write out some sample sentences and we will help you!
thank you for caring enough to find out what these things mean.

@lawny Oh, really? I didn’t know “Excuse me?” can be used as polite way of “wtf”.
However maybe I can’t use it appropriately...coz I still have a little confusion so I’ll try not to use it.
Thank you!!

@emtrivoli Thank you so much!
I’ve just known there’s many similar(?) phrases that have different impression thanks to you.
I guess I should use OMG(or oh my gosh), right?
To be honest, I didn’t think about a religious person because I was raised in Japan where there’s few religious problems. Your perspective really help me notice it. Thanks again.
