What does I need to know from someone mean?
when you and your friend do something together, suddenly your friend quits working together, and you say "I need to know from you", in this case, what is the meaning of "I need to know from you"?
does it means "I need to know why"?

@tabeh0udai actually, it's a lyric from "Not Gonna Break Me" by Jamie N Commons. it says "I need to know from you" after saying "Have we come this far Just to let this go". I thought it means the speaker wants to know the reason from "you" in the music, but I am not sure I understand it correctly.

So the singer is speaking to whoever they are signing about. (Usually Ex boyfriend or ex girlfriend)
