@songchamoua Oh ok, I understand.
The child grew up in the city and had no access to places to swim. People in cities sometimes open fire hydrants to cool off during the summer. It's doubtful that the child actually thought that running through the water from a fire hydrant was swimming. They are using it to reinforce just how rare of an opportunity swimming was in the city.
