Question:
In Japan, some high schools prohibit students from having part-time jobs. Do you agree with such a school policy or not?
My essay:
I don't agree with such a school policy because I think this policy is useless.
In my case, a high school which I graduated from prohibited students from having part-time jobs so that students get high score on their test.
But they didn't spend their time on studying.
So if high schools allow students to have part-time jobs, it won't do any harm for them.
Are there some errors? If there are, I want you to correct it. Does this sound natural?

Natural
It sounds natural for the most part! It doesn’t have enough unnatural parts for me to rate it “a little unnatural.”
What I will correct, though, is that instead of “a high school which I graduated from” you should put “the high school which I graduated from.” Using “a” suggests that there are MULTIPLE high schools you graduated from. If you only graduated from one (like most students) then you should say “the”.
Also, instead of “get high score on their test” it should be “get high scores on their tests” if it’s multiple tests OR “get a high score on their test” if there was only one important test they needed to get a high score on.
We also aren’t supposed to start sentences with “but”, but everyone does so anyways. Just don’t do it on an English essay or in formal writing!
In formal writing you should just add a comma and then “but” like I did in my previous sentence.
Good job! :)
Oh and instead of “for them” it should be “to them” in the last sentence.

"Question:
In Japan, some high schools prohibit students from having part-time jobs.
Do you think you would agree with such school policy, or would you not?
My essay:
I don't agree with this school policy because I think it's pointless.
In my case, the high school I graduated from prohibited students from having part-time jobs, so that students would get higher scores on their tests.
But they wouldn't spend any time studying.
So, if high schools allowed students to have part-time jobs, it wouldn't do any harm to them.
