Question about English (US)
Does "raise an order" sound correct? I learned it from an English tutor and I wrote this to my American client, but he seems like confused... 😅 thank you.

It's unclear. When a customer orders something, they "place an order." Is that what you meant?

I've never heard of it before. Usually a customer gives an order and a worker takes an order.
